Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

Royal Enfield, the iconic two-wheeler brand, is all set to launch multiple new motorcycles based on its 650cc platform. The Super Meteor 650 Cruiser is one of the most awaited offers. The vehicle is being tested on Indian roads. Bikewheel reports that the SuperMeter 650 is once again being subjected to road tests on camera.

With each successive spy shot, Super Meteor’s test vehicle appears to be nearing the construction stage. The model in the recently released films is no different. From the black-out engine casing to the chrome-finished exhaust canister, all components are in perfect condition. Normal on a cruiser, the rider can be seen sitting in a perfectly relaxed, touring position. The motorcycle has a retractable handlebar, forward-set foot pegs and a roomy split-type seat.

Unlike the traditional telescopic units of the current models, the Super Meteor 650 will be the first Royal Enfield offer to feature forks upside down on the front. However, the state of the tune will be a little different. Similar to the current Meteor 350, the Super Meteor will also get RE’s tripper navigation system.

In terms of price, the Super Meteor 650 will be positioned above the Interceptor and Continental GT. This model will compete with Kawasaki Vulcan S and Benelli 502C.

Meanwhile, Royal Enfield has increased the prices of some of its flagship models in India. The price hike will also apply to popular models such as the Classic 350, Meteor 350 and Himalayan motorcycles.

According to the latest upgrades, the classic 350 model, the best-selling motorcycle from the brand, received the lowest increase throughout its range. According to reports, the company’s Himalayan range of bikes will get the biggest increase of over Rs 4,000.

The decline was 0.47 percent. At the same time, there was a huge jump in exports. Royal Enfield is gaining ground in several major global markets, including Japan and Southeast Asian countries. Exports during the month stood at 8,552 units, up 144.13 per cent from 3,503 units exported in December 2020.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 fireball range has been increased by Rs 2,511. These bikes are currently priced between Rs 2.01 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 2.03 lakh (ex-showroom). Stellar range bikes in the Meteor 350 lineup get an increase of Rs 2,601 per variant. The Stellar range of the Meteor 350 is currently priced from Rs 2.07 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom).

The motorcycle was recently tested in production form and was caught on camera. It will be based on the brand new ‘J’ platform that underlies the RE Meteor 350 and the new Classic 350. The new platform claims to offer better straight line and cornering stability without compromising on comfort.

The latest spy video of the motorcycle shows the back and the ex-host note. It’s very different from the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350, Classic 350 and Meteor 350. It looks sporty, which suggests that the engine may be different from its Meteor or Classic. The motorcycle had a round tail-light surrounded by circular turn indicators.

In terms of styling, the new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 features a single-piece seat, relaxed ergonomics, retro-style circular headlamps, disc brakes, alloy wheels, and grab handles for rear passengers. The new Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with OHC mount. This engine has already been seen in the Meteor.
